The 2013 Convention, Additional Information

Registration

In order to simplify registration, everything will be done via our partner's website. Payment can be made online and is given back to the OORAA association for organising the convention.

• The price depends on how long you are staying at the convention: one, two or the whole three days!
  • one day is 55€,
  • two days are 75€,
  • three days are 85€.
• It is possible to ask for a room at the CISL, which mean you don't have to commute to the convention... Prices are:
  • double room (twin beds), with private shower, shared toilets: 25€ per person,
  • double room (twin beds), with private shower and toilets: 33€ per person,
  • single room with private shower, shared toilets: 33€,
  • single room with private shower and toilets: 42€.
  The CISL isn't a normal hotel and you cannot book a room yourself, which is why you have to do it when registering.

• For meals, the easiest is to eat at the CISL's restaurant. The basic meal is 9€, which you have to pay there.

This is a tentative program. It may be modified without notice...

Registration will take place on Friday and Saturday between 8:30 and 10:00 am. After that, registration will only be possible between the workshops.

The shop will be open on Friday and Saturday between 4:30 and 5:30 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday between 8:30 and 10:00 am.

Workshops will take place in rooms Issei Yoshino, Akira Yoshizawa, Eric Joisel, and Thoki Yenn.

Coming

Like last year, the convention will take place at the centre international de séjour de Lyon.

The center is located in the district ""États-Unis" of Lyon, in the 8th arrondissement. Several bus and tram come here, making it easily accessible.

The two Train stations in Lyon are:

• Lyon Part Dieu
• Perrache

Depending on where you come from, you will arrive at one or the other. (More probably Lyon Part-Dieu...)

Coming by plane

The airport in Lyon is called Saint-Exupery. There is a special tramway line that goes from the center of Lyon (Lyon Part-Dieu) to the aiport : more details on the site of "RhôneExpress.

The simplest is to take this tramway to Lyon Part-Dieu and use public transportation (see below).

Public transportation

Several buses pass by the CISL: buses C16, C22 and C25, and the tramway T4. The name to stop at the center is "Professeur Beauvisage - CISL". These are some possibilities:

• You arrive from the train station "Lyon Part-Dieu", either one of
  • Tramway T4, direction Hopital Feyzin Venissieux, get off at stop "Professeur Beauvisage - C.I.S.L." Note, the tramway stop from Lyon Part-Dieu is on the side "gare Part-Dieu Villette" of the train station (frequency : every 15 minutes environ, travel around 15 minutes)
  • Take Bus C25, direction Sogaris - Promotrans, get off at stop "Professeur Beauvisage - CISL" (frequency: every 15 minutes, travel around 20 minutes).

• You arrive from the train station "Lyon Perrache".
  • Tramway T2, direction St Priest Bel Air, get off at « Jet d'Eau - Mendes France ».
  • transfer: tramway or bus:
    • T4 tram, direction Hospital Feyzin Venissieux, get off at stop "Professor Beauvisage - C.I.S.L."
    • bus C25, direction St Priest Plaine de Saythe, get off at stop "Professeur Beauvisage - C.I.S.L."
  Frequency of tram: every 10 minutes, travel : 20/25 minutes.

Coming by car

The simplest is to follow road No. 383 and take the exit "États-Unis". There is no private parking but street parking is easy and free!
