The OORAA

Joint project glorifying the organization

The OORAA (Organisation des Origamistes de Rhône Alpes and d'Ailleurs) is a non-profit organization that was created in 2006 by a small group of folder from the Rhône-Alpes region. The ambition was to organize a yearly convention in this area, dedicated to complex origami. We achevied our goal by inviting well known creators, as well as welcoming a growing number of attendees.

Just remember... Our first conventions gathered a few origami nerds in a restaurant. Today, the LUOC is known worldwide. And we aim to pick up reknown folders as well as talented young artists full of potential.

Origami-Shop

In order to make the convention as enjoyable as possible, the OORAA works in close collaboration with the online store Origami-Shop. Thanks to this partnership, participants get access to the best quality books and papers available.
